Life Before Plastik – Eco Friendly Christmas Gifts

I didn’t always worry or think about having an eco friendly Christmas. I wasn’t even sure that the possibility existed. But back in 2018 I wrote a post about zero waste Christmas wrapping as part of my Green is the New Black Series. And since then, I’ve been unable to look back. This year, however, I’ve been focusing more on “green” gifts – either for yourself or your friends/loved ones. This has led me to some incredible businesses and companies, who all have one common interest – preserving our planet. I get that Christmas is often, a time of indulgence, and a lot of our cares fall by the wayside. And let’s face it, after what 2020 has dealt us, we are all BEYOND ready to start enjoying the festivities. But the issues we are facing with our environment aren’t dwindling just because we had a bad year; and they aren’t taking a break for the holidays. So why not consider some alternative gift options this year? Life Before Plastik was founded in 2018 by two sisters, Trina and Charlie, from Manchester.
